Long Island’s First-Ever Green Living Expo is Coming April 26 and 27 2008

The Green Living Expo will be the first and largest all-inclusive green gathering on Long Island. The two-day event will be held on Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th, 2008 at Suffolk County Community College, on the Brentwood Campus. The event is designed to provide Long Island residents and business owners with the information they need to support a greener way of life here on Long Island. The Green Living Expo will be the catalyst between businesses, organizations, and consumers looking for information, inspiration and innovation. It will provide information to help move us in the direction of a lifestyle that is both economically viable and ecologically sound. The Green Living Expo will feature two full days of programming to make the event both educational and entertaining. Speakers have been selected for their passion, commitment, innovation, and authority on their specific “green” topic. There is no additional fee required to attend the programs/lectures/classes.

Through product sampling and demos, lectures, and interaction with more than 150 exhibitors you’ll learn about new products and services to incorporate into your life as well as greener alternatives to products and services already in use. A Green Music Lounge and special activities for children make this event a fun day for the whole family! Educating kids today can lead to a greener tomorrow!
